Flagship pathway · Fertility
Fertility care in China — with the rules stated upfront.
China's licensed assisted-reproduction centres run some of the highest IVF volumes in the world. This pathway starts with a remote review of your fertility workup, so a treatment plan, a realistic timeline, and an itemized written quote are all in front of you before you travel. Because eligibility rules in China differ from many other countries, we state them plainly on this page — before you spend anything.
Eligibility under Chinese law, in brief: assisted reproduction in mainland China is provided by licensed centres under national regulation. In practice, treatment is provided to married couples, who should expect to present a marriage certificate and identification; surrogacy is prohibited in China; and donor services are tightly restricted. Your eligibility is confirmed by the centre during the pathway review, and if the rules mean a China pathway is not open to you, we will tell you at that stage — before any travel is booked.
How the fertility pathway works
Start from home — records review
Your existing fertility investigations — hormone profiles, imaging, semen analysis, prior cycle records — are exchanged through a separate secure channel and reviewed by the centre's reproductive medicine team. You receive a written opinion on the approach they would propose and its realistic prospects.
Before you travel
Your written pathway outline names the centre, sets out the cycle plan and its timing, any preparatory testing that can be completed near home, and an itemized quote separating the base cycle from add-on procedures such as ICSI, embryo genetic testing, or freezing and storage.
During your stay
Stimulation monitoring, egg retrieval, laboratory work, and transfer are coordinated with interpretation throughout. A typical cycle involves a stay of about two to three weeks; where embryos are frozen for a later transfer, a shorter second visit follows.
After you return
Your cycle records and results are organized and translated for your own physician. If further cycles or a frozen transfer are planned, dates and costs are confirmed in writing in the same way as the first.
No fertility treatment can promise a pregnancy, at any centre, in any country. Success depends principally on individual factors — above all age and diagnosis — and your reviewing physician will discuss realistic expectations for your specific case; published averages for other patients are not a prediction for you.
Who this is not for: anyone seeking surrogacy arrangements, which are prohibited in China, and anyone whose circumstances fall outside the eligibility rules described above — the pathway review exists precisely to establish this early and honestly.
Process and timeline
Inquiry
Day 0. A short text inquiry; first reply within 24–48 hours. No medical records at this stage.
Records review
Typically 1–2 weeks once your workup is received: eligibility confirmation, a written opinion, and a proposed cycle plan.
Plan & written quote
Typically within a further week: named centre, cycle timing, and an itemized written quote with add-ons separated.
Cycle in China
Typically a stay of about 2–3 weeks for a full cycle; a frozen embryo transfer, where planned, is a shorter second visit.
Cycle timing follows your clinical schedule, so the overall pathway is planned around the cycle calendar set by the centre.
Cost
| Treatment (centre charges) | Centre charges for IVF vary by centre, by protocol and medication, and by the individual case. We therefore do not publish prices for IVF cycles. Add-on procedures — such as ICSI, embryo genetic testing, and freezing and storage — are charged separately and itemized in your quote. Before you make any commitment, your full charges are confirmed in a written, itemized quote prepared for your specific plan. Paid to the centre. |
|---|---|
| Our coordination service fee | Quoted in writing before booking, as a fixed figure. The pathway review is a paid first step, its fee confirmed in writing before you proceed. Our revenue is this service fee only — we receive nothing from the centre. |
| Travel & stay | At cost and arranged to your preference. A stay of two to three weeks is typical for a full cycle; accommodation options are set out in your written quote. |
We do not publish indicative prices for fertility treatment: the spread between centres, protocols and individual cases is too wide for a published figure to be meaningful. Your binding figures are the ones in the written, itemized quote prepared for your specific plan, confirmed before you commit to anything.
Pricing policy — no fertility-treatment prices are published on this page. Centre charges are confirmed per case in your written, itemized quote, before any commitment.
